Spring-loaded aluminium poles securing external glass and flat-panel loads safely in transit
Metalcraft’s External Retention System uses precision-engineered, spring-loaded poles to secure glass and flat-panel products during transport. Constructed from T6 aluminium extrusion with a concave box section for strength and grip, each pole features a spring-loaded top pin and a base tongue for fast, secure positioning. Non-marking sliding polymer blocks distribute pressure evenly across the load, preventing surface damage. Options include adjustable pole heights, extensions, and optional scissor clamps for additional reach and stability.

Non-Marking Polymer Blocks & Inserts
Sliding polymer blocks and non-marking rubber inserts on verticals, horizontals, and base blocks prevent scuffing and surface damage during transport.
Adjustable Height & Configurable Loading System
Poles and frails feature removable locking pins, adjustable extensions, and multiple slot locations for varying glass heights and load requirements.
Fast Loading & Unloading
Quick-release scissor clamps and non-marking block design enable rapid, safe load restraint, improving turnaround time and operator efficiency.
